Maribeth Hardwick

CPI, Home Inspector #21005759

Maribeth was born and raised in Seattle and grew up working at her family’s hardware store located in the U-District. After high school, she managed the business for almost a decade where she developed knowledge about the systems and materials used in home building while assisting DIYers with maintenance and improvement projects. She eventually returned to school and received a degree from the University of Washington where she studied History and Comparative Religion.

She became a home inspector after she went through the buying process and learned the importance of having a quality inspection. When hurricane Ida hit the Gulf Coast in 2021, she became a contracted inspector for FEMA and was deployed to New Orleans, LA to inspect homes that had been damaged by flooding and high winds.

She currently lives in North Seattle with her wife Jenny, and their two cats, Shredder and Smudge. She loves to travel but has yet to find a better area than the PNW. She can be found out adventuring the region, reading up on history, or at any sporting event.
